Several times during Revelation, God allows us to see ahead to better days. It's a relief to know that the light at the end of the tunnel is still burning brightly. Without it, we might become utterly depressed.

In one prophetic leap into the future, we glimpse a revival .... Heaven will resound with the sound of music.

When the Tribulation is over, the people who have been won to Christ by the 144,000 evangelists will be out of their earthly misery and into a glorious new world. John saw a great multitude of people from every nation and language, standing before the throne of God, in front of Jesus. These new believers will be dressed in white robes and carrying palm branches-surrounding them will be angels and the twenty-four elders. A great celebration will take place in heaven ....

When we begin to see the incredible disasters the world will experience during the Tribulation, we can understand how these people will be praising the Lord with such fervor. Their troubles will be over. They will be home at last.
