Average Boy goes on a beach vacation with his family, but he forgets his flip-flops and burns his feet on the sand. Ouch! But not as ouchy as a crying boy who needs help to find his parents. With no lifeguards around, Bob and his brother, Brian, step up. Beach litter plays a surprising (if not icky) part in the rescue, so does the color orange. Orange you glad the color wasn’t banana. Bob and his brother, Brian, get in a pre-Easter power struggle about who can hang out in the garage. As the older brother, Bob tries to be the bigger man. He also discovers that jumping on a pogo stick isn’t hard, unless you care about your body or owning nice things. In the end, Bob manages to mend his relationship with Brian—which is more than can be done for the Easter eggs that may or may not have been broken.
