Just picture it, Sarah is 90 years of age. Well past child-bearing age, and yet the Lord tells her and her husband that about this time next year, Sarah will have a son! Through it all, we’re reminded of the great ability of God.

We’ll join pastor Jeff Johnson in Genesis chapter seventeen today. In Old Testament times God instructed all Jewish males to be circumcised. This would serve as a powerful reminder of what Jesus would later do with those that trust in Him. He would perform a circumcision of the heart.

Today we turn to the story of Abraham and Sarah waiting for their promised son to arrive. After waiting for quite some time they decide to take matters into their own hands! Big mistake.
