We’re continuing our study of Genesis, and our plan today is to complete chapter 31. Throughout this chapter pastor Jeff has observed God stirring the nest in Jacob’s life, allowing certain things to happen to move Jacob along! And you can be sure, the Lord will do the same for us at times. If we’re wise we’ll recognize it!

We’ve been going through Daniel one verse at a time and in chapter nine we’ve dealt with 69 of Daniel’s 70 weeks thus far. That brings us today to the 70th week and as you’ll see this is something that hasn’t happened yet. And concerns Israel. Set aside the next half-hour with us as we see what God is up to in these last days.

We’ve been studying the life and times of Jacob here on Sound Doctrine with pastor Jeff Johnson. Recently we’ve learned about Jacob’s love life and then his home life. At this point Jacob isn’t where he needs to be, and so God is about to stir things up. And haven’t you found that to be true in your life? And maybe that’s something you can relate to! As we turn to Genesis chapter 30 today on Sound Doctrine we’ll give attention to Jacob’s home life, and it’s a real mess. Pastor Jeff Johnson will utilize our time together to encourage us to allow the Lord to be our home builder and sustainer!
