We meet up with the Apostle Paul in chapter twenty, convening a pastor’s conference of sorts. Paul gathers the elders of the Church and encourages them in their calling - to keep giving out. Perhaps you need some encouragement in your calling?

Having discerned it was time to leave Ephesus - the apostle Paul and his missionary team are now headed to Macedonia - and then on to Greece. We’ll notice they faced some rough seas and were delayed, but the Lord would use even that to accomplish His purposes.

As you read through your Bible you can’t help but notice what God has to say about idolatry! While we may think of idolatry as a thing of the past, in reality it’s a real problem in the present. But today on Sound Doctrine we’ll hear about a time when people in large part turned away from their idolatry and embraced God’s Word. It led to a massive revival. And the same thing can happen in our land, if we’ll follow their lead.
