This is the way of life that Moses prescribed to the children of Israel to walk in. As we use the Sword of the Spirit as a guide in our lives, it will transform us to be the people who will lead others to Jesus who will change them as well. It’s amazing how small hinges are able to turn such large doors. When it comes to the Christian life and warfare, God has given us such compact truths that impact all of our lives, for time and eternity. And when we take them to heart and put them into practice we will never be the same. Such is the case when it comes to the helmet of salvation, especially as it pertains to psychological warfare. Our adversary, the devil gains great footholds in believer’s lives through small lies he implants in our minds. One of my favorite quotes from Pastor Jeff is that the problem with life is that it is sooo daily. Maybe you have felt that way before. And the same can be said of the spiritual warfare that we encounter as Christians. So when it comes to our response to the raging battle, our rest and strength come from the Lord. He provides both our victory and our hope as we experience increased clashes with the enemy. We pray that the Lord encourages you with our time in the Word today.
