What the world doesn’t understand what God is doing, many times is met with ignorance, avoidance, or resistance. And though there are many who don’t always inquire as to what God is doing, God has sent the believers into the world to reveal the glorious Gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ. kWhen God poured out His power on the church, the city was full of people. Lives were being transformed while the Lord was working through the first believers in Jerusalem, but that applied only to those who were actually in the upper room. Pastor Jeff Johnson goes on to show how the same is true in our lives today. When the Lord wants to pour out His Spirit on us, lives are transformed as we make ourselves available. Does God’s Spirit still work in the church today as He did in the early church? Or is that baptism of the Holy Spirit only effective through the book of Acts? When it comes to the activities of our lives and how we are led out, we discover that we are either led out by the Lord, or we are led by ourselves apart from the Lord.
