On today’s program we’ll take another look at Acts chapter three. Have you ever experienced something and later realized you’d been set up? That’s exactly what’s about to happen to Peter and John... but in a good way! They’re on their way to the temple to pray and they come across a lame man begging for money. What happens at The Beautiful Gate is nothing short of a miracle.

When the Holy Spirit descended upon the believers on the day of Pentecost, it set in motion the wheels of an active, evangelistic Christian movement that later on in this book, swept up many a man and woman - including a certain man who came to be known as the Apostle Paul. And I think you’d agree good news is desperately needed today in our day of hopelessness and uncertainty! Right at the heart of the Gospel message is Jesus and His resurrection. And Peter’s first gospel message features just that.
