It’s been well said that, “While we cannot organize revival, we can set our sails to catch the wind from Heaven should God choose to blow upon His people once again.” That’s our aim for today’s Sound Doctrine with pastor Jeff Johnson, that we would be ready to “catch the wind.” In Second Chronicles chapter twenty-nine we find a historical account of revival.

Many mistake the patience of God as His approval of the actions of a wayward nation or individual. You don’t want to fall into that error.   On today’s Sound Doctrine with pastor Jeff Johnson we continue in Second Chronicles. And as we pick up in chapter twenty-eight God’s patience has run out. And this not only points to the necessity of discipline, but also God’s faithfulness to provide it.

Whether you’ve been hit with Covid-19, or the Doctor says its cancer… it’s a good idea to take it to the Lord in prayer and seek healing!  But you’ve probably noticed, God doesn’t always answer our requests for healing the way we had hoped.  Sometimes He has other things in mind, or His timing looking different than ours.  Or as we’ll learn today on Sound Doctrine, there could be something hindering it from happening.

We’ll hear of a case in point on today’s Sound Doctrine with pastor Jeff Johnson. Last time we began to consider how King Uzziah did good, but went bad.
