Not by Might or by Power part 1

The message of the Gospel is supposed to go out to everyone. When it’s shared with us, we’re to tell others about it. Pastor Jeff Johnson will stress this important truth, and show us what sort of response we can expect as we share the message. That’s what we can expect today on Sound Doctrine as we resume our chapter by chapter topical study of Acts. We’ll be in chapter eleven today.

Today we are going to bring you pastor Jeff’s last study in Acts chapter nine, as we continue our verse by verse journey through the fifth book of the New Testament. Many biblical scholars refer to Acts as the “fifth gospel”, and we con certainly see why. The four gospels describe the mighty and powerful grace of God in display in the life of Jesus Christ, and here in Acts, we see the third person of the trinity at work - the Holy Spirit.

Did you know that the Lord has works for you to do as well? But we need to be prepared in order to do them and there is no better way to be prepared than to study the Word of God.
