How God Leads Us Part 1b

When we pray for something and God opens the door for us, it’s thrilling! But what about when the door slams shut? We should be just as appreciative, because God knows best. Today on Sound Doctrine, we’ll discover a couple of the ways that God leads us. One of them being through closed doors.

We’ve heard it often, and may have even committed it to memory: God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. But does that even include conflict? You bet! We see an example of that in Acts chapter fifteen today on Sound Doctrine. Pastor Jeff Johnson points out how God often uses sinful, stubborn people to get the work of ministry accomplished.

Our flesh can get the best of us at such times! But today on Sound Doctrine, we’ll be encouraged to hear that God can turn things around, and good can come from these personal conflicts.
