Daniel's 70 Weeks Part 1a

To some this is rather confusing, but today pastor Jeff Johnson will break it all down for us, and set out to help us understand it. But dig a little deeper and you’ll see a brilliant picture of the entire Godhead, and how the Lord works in our lives.

Pastor Jeff Johnson will be speaking about the bride that is found and brought to Isaac. But it also serves as a picture of the wonderful relationship between the church, the bride, and Jesus the bridegroom.

Do you enjoy a good love story? We've got one for you today! It’s one of the all-time greats, and it’s found in Genesis 24. If you’re married, how did you and your spouse meet? Perhaps a good friend set you up on a date, maybe you met at church, or ran into each other at some sort of gathering? Consider how the Lord brought Isaac and Rebecca together. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

How Abraham responds to this gives us some clues on how to cope and where our hope is found.

Today on Sound Doctrine we look back to Genesis chapter 22 where we find some incredible prophecy about Jesus and what He came to accomplish. Of course, this would be fulfilled at the cross.
