Did you know that the modern "BDS" Movement was actually born in Durban, South Africa? Today's podcast traces the infamous steps of BDS.Apartheid was a system of institutionalized racial segregation that existed in South Africa from 1948 until the early 1990s. In September of 2001, a Human Rights Conference in Durban South Africa named Israel an apartheid state and thus launched today’s antisemitic BDS movement.PJTN did a meeting series in South Africa several years ago and traced the infamous trail of BDS. Our mission included a screening of our documentary film about the BDS movement titled "Boycott This." Following the screening, we had a panel discussion with distinguished guests who are experts in their fields. Our discussion centered on our biblical responsibility to stand with Israel and the Jewish people against the rise of antisemitism, specifically as it pertains to the BDS movement.
