Many psalms are labeled "A Psalm of David", but one of the most important Psalms of David is found in Psalm 110! "The LORD [YHVH] says to my Lord [Adonai]: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” Yeshua quoted this Psalm in a question to the Pharisees in Matthew 22 asking how can David's son also be his Lord? As you can imagine this Psalm is still hotly debated today!

**Update! - Thanks for praying with us! International attention has provoked a swift retraction of the proposed bill. Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted March 22nd that Christian rights will be protected under his government, other leaders followed suit claiming that the bill is not on the current agenda. That said prayers are needed still for the ongoing crisis in Israel. Learn more on our newest update here.
Israel is in the middle of civil unrest and terror attacks. The new government is pushing controversial reforms to the court system, that could take power away from the courts to uphold basic laws that ensure human rights and religious freedom. Despite assurances that human rights will be preserved in these reforms a updated version of the "Anti-Missionary" bill has been brought to the Knesset once again, this updated bill in the light of the judicial reforms could make it illegal to share your faith in person or online in Israel!

It might seem like semantics here, and of course we still use the term, but have you thought about the effect this name has made on our reading of the scripture? About Dr. Erez Soref
Dr. Erez Soref - President, One for Israel, One for Israel Bible College
Erez grew up in a traditional Israeli household, attending synagogue every week and learning the Old Testament in school all the way from first to twelfth grade, but to him, God felt distant. Bible lessons were taught more as the general history of the Jewish people, rather than with spiritual meaning. After his service in the IDF, Erez left for southeast Asia on the “Mysticism” trail, wanting to better understand spirituality. It was on his search that he discovered Israel’s best kept secret: Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. After his life changing discovery, Erez immediately wanted to study the scriptures but found no Bible college in Israel to help. Erez felt that he was called to change that, and has worked tirelessly since then to provide the opportunity to Israelis—both Jewish and Arab—to study the Bible, in Hebrew where it happened. Today, Erez serves as president of the only accredited Bible college in Israel, training Israelis for ministry in the One for Israel Bible college.
