When we look at God's Word, we need to have respect for it. And part of demonstrating respect for the Word of God is understanding how the Word of God needs to be interpreted, needs to be understood. What was the purpose for the transfiguration, a very important event that bears to the reader much significance, we see that the transfiguration conveys to the reader of the Gospels, the divinity of Messiah. One of the reasons why I liked Psalm 119 so much is because of the emphasis on the word of God. And we're going to learn a principle and that is this. When we obey the instructions of God's the commandments of God, the laws of God, we're going to see that God will speak to us and give us additional revelation, in order that we can learn not only what he wants us to do in a general sense, meaning what He wants His people to do, but what he wants you to do personally, obedience to the Word of God has many benefits. In the Scripture, we find that the seventh month, according to the biblical Biblical calendar, is a special month. Now this seventh month because of the number seven, it relates to holiness, sanctification, and we can summarize that very easily with the word purpose relating to the purposes of God. About Love Israel

The purpose of LoveIsrael.org is to provide Biblically-based teaching.  We study books of the Bible, going through them chapter by chapter and verse by verse.  Special attention is given to the original languages and the cultural backgrounds for the Scripture.

About Dr. Baruch Korman

R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L'amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).

A similar Bible Study program in English is broadcast on numerous television networks across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Many of his lectures are available in the forms of video, audio and written on Pdut.org (Hebrew) and LoveIsrael.org (English).

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
