We are now ready for the longest Psalm in the book of Psalms and the longest chapter in all the Bible. And I'm speaking, of course of Psalm 119. Now, this psalm is known as an acrostic. And what does that mean? It means that it follows a particular methodology.

Do you believe in demons that is that they exist. And if we live and righteously, and go against the word of God, that it will serve as an invitation to them to cause us problems? Now we know something. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, that means if you are a believer, a demon cannot possess you. But a demon can indeed cause you problems.

We are called to be a people that walk differently in this world. And when I use that term walk, which is a biblical expression. It's speaking about lifestyle, that we are called to have a most different lifestyle from those that do not have a new covenantal relationship with God. So as we look at the word of God, we see that in that day, the day of Moses, we see that there were many temptations in this world for even the people of God.

And when trouble comes and trouble will come, be assured. Our God is a God of deliverance. We use that term salvation so frequently, and it simply means victory.

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
