One of the things that you and I should be praying is that God prepares our mind in order to understand His revelation. And that's simply doing this before picking up God's word. Ask God, to prepare yourself in order to receive His truth. And one of the things that will assist you in being prepared is a desire, a sincere desire to put into action, what God teaches you, meaning that you will approach the Word of God submissively, you will approach the Word of God expecting that there will be something there that you need to hear and implement into your life.

God is a God of detail. And the more you study the Word of God, with the purpose to apply his word to your life, you are going to see the scriptures come alive, you are going to be recipients of the promises of God, not just in the future in his kingdom, but God will work mightily in your life in this world, you will know His presence, you will know His provision, you will know His power.

Few things are more important than Passover. When we talk about Passover, we're speaking about the Exodus from Egypt, God's redemption for Israel, out of Egypt. And of course, that first Passover represented a physical redemption that did indeed have some spiritual implications. But it's not by accident, that our Lord and Savior and of course, I'm speaking about Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, that He was crucified on Passover.

Prophecy prepares us for the future. Through prophecy, we can see what God is going to do, and not just know what he will do, but also how he wants us to respond. If you are a believer, you will want to be pleasing to God. And you please God through obedience, I say all the time. One is not saved by obedience, but have you been saved by that free gift through the grace of God through faith, you are called as a new creation to obey God.

About Dr. Baruch Korman
R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L'amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).
A similar Bible Study program in English is broadcast on numerous television networks across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Many of his lectures are available in the forms of video, audio and written on Pdut.org (Hebrew) and LoveIsrael.org (English).
Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
