One is not saved by good works. But don't be misled. That does not mean that good works are unimportant. Good Works are very important. But hear this The means of salvation is not what you and I do. It is what your savior has done for us on that cross. The fact that he laid down his life. And the evidence that God received his work is the fact that God the Father, raised Him from the dead.

God is indeed a God of justice. And therefore we need to behave justly. And even though in some languages, that word justice and the word righteousness is the same, many times in the Scripture, we see two different words being used for these two different concepts. Obviously, there's a relationship between them when we execute justice.

How much do you love your Savior? Now of course, it's easy to answer that question with words. So perhaps a better way to think of it is this way? Does your life reflect the love that you have for your Savior? It is important that we demonstrate our feelings. We need to tell people how we feel and also to show them with our actions.

Our God is a God of commandments. And he gives us these commandments, not for anything that he needs. He gives us His commandments, in order that we might learn from him. And through learning through His truth, and applying his revelation to our life, that we can serve him and know joy, gladness, and also experience His provision, realize that the best place to find God's provision in our life, and I mean that in the fullest sense, that provision that can comfort us, he'll us, help us and also help us to be an assistance to others that comes when we are in his will.

What is your greatest interests? How would you answer that question? If you are a true disciple of our Lord and Savior, Messiah shoe, then there's really only one answer. What's important is God's perspective. And we don't have to speculate or wonder, because you Chu, the Son of God, He tells us specifically, who is the greatest, and what was his answer? John, the Baptists.

Sometimes when you look at a passage of Scripture, there is one primary message to that texts, one principle that God wants us to learn. And in the scripture that we're going to be studying today from the book of Psalms, we can say with all assurance, that there's one principle and that is this, God, when he enters into a situation, we can make it more personal. When God enters into your life, he will bring about a change. God's presence always produces a change.

About Dr. Baruch Korman
R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L'amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).
A similar Bible Study program in English is broadcast on numerous television networks across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Many of his lectures are available in the forms of video, audio and written on Pdut.org (Hebrew) and LoveIsrael.org (English).
Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
