God does indeed want to lead you in his pathways, his paths are directions for us to find his very goodness, and with the good things of God comes also his presence, being intimate, being together with him. So ask yourself a question. What are you pursuing? are you pursuing the things of this world? Not that all the things of this world are bad? We know that we have need there's a necessity for certain things. But are we focused upon the things of this world? Or are we truly pursuing God, experiencing Him, knowing him, and being in his presence, walking in obedience, doing his will, and again, bringing glory and honor and praise unto him, this is where joy is found.
