We’ve all seen shows or news reports on TV that feature a grand conspiracy of some sort!  And we shake our head in disgust as we consider the damage left behind.  Today on Light on the Hill we’ll draw your attention to what is no doubt the biggest conspiracy of all time.  A plot to destroy mankind and the Messiah!  What may surprise you is who is behind it all.  I’m happy to say it was all thwarted.  In fact God would use it all to accomplish His purpose.

“They seem to be getting away with murder!”  Has that figure of speech ever crossed your mind?  We may wonder at times why God hasn’t judged the world already and hold people accountable for their actions.  The reality is, He will one day.  And we’ll read about it in Matthew chapter 25.  Jesus will serve as the judge and separate the sheep from the goats. Carefully consider where you will go as you join us there now.

The Bible tells us that as we approach the last days, there will come a time when the Lord Himself will stand among the nations as Judge and will separate the sheep from the goats. On one side, there will be those that will experience salvation and everlasting joy. On the other side, there will be eternal torment. Where will you go?  Think that through with us today on Light on the Hill as pastor James Kaddis opens Matthew chapter 25.

God has a message for you to share with people about the end times.  Question is, will you be faithful to deliver it?  Keep that question in mind and join us today for Light on the Hill.  Pastor James Kaddis is in Matthew chapter 25, and we’re at the tail-end of the Olivet Discourse.  We’ll be focusing our time and attention on the parable of the talents.  Pastor James says that this parable has a lot to do with what the servant did with the message that was given to him.

You might not think that Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther have much to say in the prophetic realm, but you’d be mistaken.  As you’ll hear today they are critical books to the understanding of Bible prophecy.

When you see a warning light go on in your car, or a warning sign on the road of danger ahead… you know what to do!  You heed the warning, or pay dearly for it, later on down the road.  Today on Light on the Hill we’ll learn that God has been warning us for quite some time.  We’re in the last days, Jesus is coming again, and judgment is coming.  As His followers we have an obligation to share this warning with others.

When you stop to think of it we prepare for a lot of things in life.  Whether it be buying a home, a career, or even retirement!  But today on Light on the Hill we want to encourage you to prepare for something even more important, and that is the return of Jesus.  The parable we’re about to look at together stresses how important it is to prepare for it.

Today on Light on the Hill we’ll be in Matthew chapter 25 highlighting a parable of Christ.  As you’ll hear momentarily a good number of people have arrived at wrong conclusions based on church tradition.  But if you closely examine the text and let it speak for itself, well you’ll arrive at the real meaning behind the parable.

Pastor James Kaddis is in the intriguing 24th chapter of Matthew.  Jesus is in the middle of a conversation with His disciples about the end of the world.  And remember He's talking about the Tribulation and Second Coming in this passage.  As you’ll hear in a moment, He likens the last days to the days of Noah. We’d do well to ask, what were the days of Noah like?

I’m sure you’ve heard many Bible teachers refer to the “fig tree generation.”  What does that mean? Once we understand the meaning, does it apply to us? Is there any relationship to Israel? If there is, what is it? When will this generation be identified? What does being judged and left behind have to do with any of this? We’ll talk about this and much more as we complete our study through Matthew 24 today and tomorrow on Light on the Hill.
