Depression… it’s a growing problem in the world today, and really skyrocketing in the last couple of years for various reasons.  Maybe that’s something you’ve been dealing with?  Today pastor James Kaddis will set out on a hope-filled journey through the book of First John.  This book was written so that your joy would be made full.  And shows us how we can have victory in this area.  You’ll hear how that relates to Bible prophecy!

Pastor James Kaddis’ study on the letters to the seven churches in Revelation continues today with letter number four - the letter to Thyatira. Like several other churches, The Lord has something good to say.  They were loving, faithful, growing and serving, among other things.  But there was something terrible going on in this church too. Join us in Revelation chapter two.

Last time we completed pastor James’ look at the Lord’s letter to Smyrna, in Revelation chapter two. It was a letter of encouragement and praise. Today, as we begin a study of the letter to Pergamum, we see a very different tone from the Lord. Pergamum had fallen into the hands of false teaching.  They were compromising. The Lord’s response? Repent!

Today we return to our exciting study of Revelation.  We’ll start by looking at the Lord’s postcard to the church in Ephesus. While they were commended for some things, they had left their first love.  It happened to the Ephesians and it’s still happening to Christians today. If things aren’t where they used to be in your relationship with Jesus, today’s message will show you how to get back on track.

Today pastor James Kaddis continues his series in Revelation. Today we begin a look at the first of seven letters Jesus gave to seven different churches.  What do you suppose Jesus would say if He stopped by for a visit to your church?  Would He commend you and say keep that up?  Or would He offer some words of correction?  The church at Ephesus received both.

In this marvelous book of Revelation the apostle John receives a vision of the glorified Savior.  Fortunately for us, he wrote it down.  And we’re about to hear his incredible description of what he saw.  We’ll then transition to a very helpful divine outline, that will help us grasp what’s to come in our study, and where we’re at right now on the prophetic timeline.

We’re at the tail-end of a 20 part series called, “In the Volume of the Book.”  James is drawing our attention to the prophecy contained in each book of the Bible, and today it’s First and Second Peter.  We’ll observe some promises that be unsettling to some, but very encouraging to others.  Like the end is near!

Earlier this week we introduced our new series in Revelation !   Revelation is an often times misunderstood book. It can be daunting, to say the least, but as we go verse by verse through all twenty-two chapters, I think you’ll come away with a new found knowledge and appreciation for this amazing book of our Bible.  Pastor James says it’s really a revealing of Jesus, and you can expect to be blessed as you study and apply it!

Today we’ll be hearing an introduction to the book of Revelation, setting the stage for what’s to come in the weeks ahead.  There are some things you need to know about the book, before we get underway.  And pastor James is quick to point out, there’s a great blessing awaiting those that read, study and apply Revelation.

Today on Light on the Hill we join pastor James Kaddis in Second Peter chapter three and see how Bible prophecy can have a tremendous affect on us as we receive and believe it.
