Pastor Chuck Swindoll

A Tried-and-True Plan That Still Works, Part 1

June 18, 2024

For centuries, God’s people obeyed a financial plan guaranteed to free their hearts from the grip of greed. It was known as “tithing,” or giving a tenth to the Lord. Early Christians followed the ancient pattern and gave offerings over-and-above their regular financial giving.

In his message, Pastor Chuck Swindoll explores the vault of blessings for those who give regularly. “God will generously provide all you need” (2 Corinthians 9:8) is one! Giving a tithe isn’t an obligation under Christ. Instead, it’s a privilege. It’s a tried-and-true plan that still works today.
