Birds of the air and lilies of the field don’t worry and don’t hurry. Can the same be said of human beings? For most of us, hurry and worry define our anxious lives. The fact of the matter is that there is no legitimate basis for worry. Dr. Stanley encourages us to trust the Lord to meet our every need, His way and in His timing.  God provides for us in the same way He provides for the birds and the flowers, so we are free to seek His kingdom above all else.

However, for a believer, it is also vital that you spend time with the Father daily in order to grow in your relationship with Him and be conformed to the likeness of Jesus. But what exactly must you do to seek God? Dr. Stanley explains how the Father pursues us and how we can embrace an intimate relationship with Him.

When people apply for a job, one of the first things they inquire about has to do with benefits? They want to know what they will get for their work and how their future will be provided for. While those types of benefits are good and useful, there are other benefits available to us that come with eternal rewards. Dr. Stanley talks about the blessings of walking in wisdom—seeing the world from God’s perspective and responding with biblical principles. Some of these benefits include:   - Increased knowledge of God - Clear guidance from God's direction - God's divine protection - Strength and power from God - Peace, contentment and happiness - A good self-image - Prospertiy - Good health and a long life These benefits should motivate us to delve into Scripture and obey God’s Word. Because when we walk wisely, we get to experience the blessings that come with making good decisions.
