This is no wild-eyed sensationalism, but based on scripture we are living in the final days of earth’s history, when church and state will unite. God is calling men and women to be faithful to Him, to be totally committed to Christ.

There are many things in life that we do not fully understand. There are a lot of things about life’s circumstances that confuse or perplex us. But we know this for certain, when life seems out of control, God is still in control. A life in Christ means circumstances do not overwhelm us because Jesus has cast out fear.

The world promises what it cannot deliver. The promises of God are true. If you fill your mind with what is false and you substitute the false and the artificial for the real, the true is going to seem unreal and the real is going to seem true. And you can’t expect to think heavenly thoughts if you’re filling your mind with junk.

Know for sure that the God who redeemed you, the One that created you, the One that is with you today, will be with you tomorrow. And He’ll be with you the next day after that, and the next day after that and forever. We are coming to a time when every earthly support will be cut off, and a time where we will have to trust God and trust Him implicitly.

It encourages us to reevaluate our priorities, to seek the eternal, rather than the earthly. Whether you have much or little, God’s Word encourages us to make investments that pay off in the long run.
