I always have a fantasy about American Christmas that I learned from my mother. In South Korea, our Christmas started only a little over 100 years ago.
According to https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2014/08/12/6-facts-about-christianity-in-south-korea/, "In 1900, only 1% of the country’s population was Christian, but largely through the efforts of missionaries and churches, Christianity has grown rapidly in South Korea over the past century. In 2010, roughly three-in-ten South Koreans were Christian,..."
I don’t know somehow; I have this beautiful and warm feeling about Christmas that my mother planted in my heart. As my mother was raised by missionaries, she gave me the heavenly experience of the presence of God especially Christmas time. I think Christmas meant so much especially after Korean war. When we think of it, if there is no Christmas, the birth of our savior, this earth is full of violent, illness and death… hell on earth, most of all, there is no forgiveness. Light up the Christmas light is a symbol of light of the world. Is Jesus reigning in your heart during the Christmas season?
