Hope for the Caregiver with Peter Rosenberger II

September 3, 2023

Peter Rosenberger, is an author and syndicated radio host, who considers himself fluent in "caregiver" as he ministers to the 65 million people in the U.S. struggling to care for a loved one -- like he has done for 37 years for his wife Gracie. Peter talks about being so overwhelmed he tried checking himself into a mental hospital -- but was given a tuna sandwich and sent home.

Hope for the Caregiver

(BOZEMAN, Mont., Aug. 8, 2023) – Peter Rosenberger was so overwhelmed by his round-the-clock caregiver duties that he once tried checking himself into a mental hospital. Instead of being admitted, Rosenberger shakes his head and laughs when recalling how he was given a tuna sandwich and sent home. “My situation is not uncommon,” said Rosenberger, an author and syndicated radio talk show host who’s on a mission to support the 65 million Americans struggling to care for a vulnerable loved one. “Hanging on by a thread until their loved one passes away is simply not acceptable for a caregiver to live a healthy life,” Rosenberger said. His new book, A Minute for Caregivers: When Every Day Feels Like Monday, provides a glimpse into the everyday lives of America’s caregivers – unsung heroes caring for loved ones suffering with an array of illnesses, disabilities and health problems, from autism to Alzheimer’s to addictions.

Psalm 23
We live in a broken world with full of challenges, failures, and disappointments. As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. We have been created to thrive in our relationships with God, our family, our neighbors and ourselves. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

Hebrews 11 "1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." Attitude is from Gratitude. I want to share one of many reasons why I came to America; it was a joy. I saw the joy that we do not see among Asians. It is not happiness; it is not just a smile or laugh, but joy. Do you know why China heavily promotes woke in America? They can not stand joy or celebration. America has joy. My mentor Dr. DelHousaye said joy is an absence of fear. Communism starts with the oppressed sector of society to teach them that they deserve better and encourage them to be the ruling class by giving them power. Usually, communism uses revenge toward the upper class by promising economic power. By faith, we can have joy during the dark time.

Our world is heading incredibly fast toward a self-destructive way; the technological salvation for humanity will be the main destruction factor for humanity. Even scientists see what is coming near the future, the dark side of technology. Along with the new technology, the new religion will promote human conquering death apart from Christ. We should take heart and not lose our minds when the new days are ahead of us. We are in the middle of it. The new world will be natural for our children's generation. We must prepare to be remain as human that God created us to be.

Money and Independnance We hear a lot about the phrase, "follow the money." When we study money, we can also understand not only the history of money but also the history of human society in terms of war and peace. There were numerous significant historical events around the world on the issue of money. First of all, money was created for the exchange of goods and services as a medium. Definitely, money and freedom have a strong tie between them. However, when there are fewer educated people, there are more chances that people can be manipulated for control, which is the opposite of freedom.
