We’re in a study of Revelation, taking our time through each chapter and verse.  In chapter one, the apostle John gives a brilliant description of Jesus from His eyes on down to His feet!  In this description we learn something important about the judgement to come!  When Jesus returns, it will be to judge a Christ-rejecting world.  But will believers be here to witness it all or worse yet will we be on the receiving end?  Find out with us.

Today we open our bibles to Revelation chapter one, and verses 7 and 8 describe the second coming of Christ.  On that day, evil will be defeated, the earth restored, and every eye will see Him coming with the clouds.  Judgement is coming to a Christ-rejecting world.  God wants you to be ready and prepared, and today’s study is designed with that in mind.

Matt VanderVen is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Harrisburg – West Shore. Matt and his wife, Lisa, moved from Rochester, NY to Harrisburg, PA in 2014 to begin a simple, line by line teaching through God’s Word on Wednesday evenings.
