We’re living in a world today where the spirit of antichrist is prevalent, making it all the more necessary to test the spirits to see if they are of God or not. But how do you put it to the test so we’re not led astrary? We’ll talk about this today on His Perfect Love as we get back into First John.

Here we are on Valentine’s day, a day that we typically express our love to others!  So it’s fitting on a day like this that we talk about what real love looks like.  Jesus demonstrated it to us, and calls us to love others this way!  That’s the emphasis of His Perfect Love today, as we open our Bibles to First John chapter three.

About Matt VanderVen

Matt VanderVen is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Harrisburg – West Shore. Matt and his wife, Lisa, moved from Rochester, NY to Harrisburg, PA in 2014 to begin a simple, line by line teaching through God’s Word on Wednesday evenings.
