United Nations Education Framework 2030 - Woking the World’s Schools

September 13, 2023

The United Nations Education Framework 2030 promises to export social justice, inclusion, LGBT, and all the other wokey programs to the world. And they are making progress! However, the one thing standing in the way of this international agenda is . . . parents, and more specifically, Christian parents who are committed to bringing their children up in the paideia of the Lord Jesus Christ. Kevin Swanson speaks with Kevin Boden from HSLDA International on the battle for freedom on the international scene.

Every day on The Worldview, we feature another story of the persecution of believers somewhere around the world. Well, today, on Generations Radio, guest host Adam McManus interviews Michael Parves, a 61-year-old native Pakistani missionary, whom McManus met personally at church in San Antonio, Texas, who has experienced persecution first hand.  After growing up as a nominal Catholic who attended church twice a year, God got Michael's attention in 1993 when he miraculously survived a train crashing into his car. Since he trusted Christ as Savior, he has planted 33 churches! But Satan hates to see the advancement of God’s Kingdom. So, in the Muslim-majority country, Michael's spiritual antagonists have burned down three separate homes of his in 2007, 2013, and 2020—all because he refuses to deny Christ and follow Allah. Plus, his eldest son was kidnapped in 2013, tortured for two weeks, and left for dead at 12 midnight in the street. Open Doors lists Pakistan as the seventh most dangerous country to be a Christian. Five years ago, Michael founded an orphanage which now houses 87 children. (It costs $30/month to provide food, clothing, and medical care per child.) Providing food for the kids has become increasingly difficult with the skyrocketing 42% inflation rate. That’s why they’re raising the funds to build a self-sustaining chicken farm with 400 chickens outside the city. That will enable them to both provide cost-effective eggs and chicken meat for the orphanage, as well as a desperately-needed income stream. Send a donation made out to: Rio Grande Valley Prayer Center, their sister organization here in America, 3106 Harmony Lane, Mission, TX 78574. Write: “Pakistan Mission” in the memo. The prayer center then wires the money to a nearby bank in Pakistan.

Do only men face sexual temptation, or is this something women deal with as well? Bethany Baird and Kristen Clark speak to these temptations and the victory that is found in Jesus in this interview. Bethany and Kristen have coauthored a new book called Embrace Your Sexuality with Passion, Purpose, and Purity.

Veganism has increased its adherents by six-fold in the last six years in this country, and it is catching on around the world. The West took on these ideas as early as the 1830s with the father of Louisa May Alcott. The Economist declared 2019 as "the year of the vegan." Christians are often caught up in this confusion of ideas and doctrine of demons (1 Tim. 4:1-4). We define the doctrine of veganism and then consider the weaker brother who eats "only vegetables" from Romans 14:1-3.

The US is pretty excited about the "gospel" of drag queens and woke, and now the US government is exporting this "wonderful" news to Ecuador, Botswana, and Hungary. Other nations are not as enthusiastic about it, however. The world is assembling once more for war—the 7 billion people who are holding on to some semblance of traditional values and sanity, and the 1 billion people in the West who have lost all of that. Nuclear arsenals are growing fast. Where are we headed?

One of the most successful pop musicians of all time, Jimmy Buffet has gone on to meet his Maker. But, what about his pedestrian philosophy that has appealed so much to the masses? “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die.” What appeared to be light and happy-go-lucky turned out to be a life of hopelessness and despair. We discuss the Jimmy Buffett worldview of irresponsibility, escapism from reality, the capitulation to the bondage of sin, and the futile attempts to ignore or bypass the curse of sin placed upon man in the garden.

Is “The Chosen” TV series the greatest phenomenon of 21st-century Christianity? There have been over 500 million views of the series thus far. The Christian news sites erupted when Voddie Baucham suggested that the series was a 2nd-commandment violation. Do these pictures bias towards His humanity, and does that present an imbalanced view of the God-man, two-natures, distinct but not to be separated? What about picturing His deity? How does that violate the second commandment? We’re talking about 10% of the 10 commandments on this edition of Generations.

The worst economies in the world this year are Argentina, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Germany, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Sweden, Czech Republic, Yemen, Chile, Estonia, Ukraine, and Sri Lanka, as reported by Yahoo Finance. Two-thirds of these—the worst economies—are Socialist, countries turning socialist . . . Woke Western countries. The worst states in the US are following the same pattern—Blue states and welfare states. People are moving out of these states to safer havens. Welfare programs are unbiblical and inevitably prove to corrupt the poor.

The most popular movie of the day is all about feminism and more fundamentally, self-determination. Sadly, Christian movie reviews and evangelicalism appear extremely confused on the issues that are most likely to destroy family, society, and their churches. Contrast the Barbie worldview with 2 Peter 3:1-5, 1 Timothy 2:8-15, and Titus 2:3-5, and what do you get? The death of manhood and womanhood is the death knell to society, and this film will help seal the deal.

The Roman Pope claims that the church’s view of slavery, homosexuality, and capital punishment are rightfully evolving depending on the social context (and whatever the world thinks is right at the time). We take a hard look at the 1978 PCUSA 60-page paper on homosexuality. Sadly, the apostate church has led the nations down to hell. The church was at the front of the pack and must take responsibility for the decline of the nations.

A guy on his last leg mentally represents the blue collar, grass roots of a nation pretty well—appealing more to Republicans and Christians than Democrats. This trailer-dwelling musician, Oliver Anthony bats about .600 on the problem, and .000 on the solution. So what’s the problem—the system or us? Where is the fear of God with a guy who manages to stuff eight expletives in one short piece?
