Socialist Nations - Worst Economies in the World - Welfare Is Unbiblical

September 4, 2023

The worst economies in the world this year are Argentina, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Germany, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Sweden, Czech Republic, Yemen, Chile, Estonia, Ukraine, and Sri Lanka, as reported by Yahoo Finance. Two-thirds of these—the worst economies—are Socialist, countries turning socialist . . . Woke Western countries. The worst states in the US are following the same pattern—Blue states and welfare states. People are moving out of these states to safer havens. Welfare programs are unbiblical and inevitably prove to corrupt the poor.

The most popular movie of the day is all about feminism and more fundamentally, self-determination. Sadly, Christian movie reviews and evangelicalism appear extremely confused on the issues that are most likely to destroy family, society, and their churches. Contrast the Barbie worldview with 2 Peter 3:1-5, 1 Timothy 2:8-15, and Titus 2:3-5, and what do you get? The death of manhood and womanhood is the death knell to society, and this film will help seal the deal.

The Roman Pope claims that the church’s view of slavery, homosexuality, and capital punishment are rightfully evolving depending on the social context (and whatever the world thinks is right at the time). We take a hard look at the 1978 PCUSA 60-page paper on homosexuality. Sadly, the apostate church has led the nations down to hell. The church was at the front of the pack and must take responsibility for the decline of the nations.

A guy on his last leg mentally represents the blue collar, grass roots of a nation pretty well—appealing more to Republicans and Christians than Democrats. This trailer-dwelling musician, Oliver Anthony bats about .600 on the problem, and .000 on the solution. So what’s the problem—the system or us? Where is the fear of God with a guy who manages to stuff eight expletives in one short piece?

Yvonne Strachan, author of “Inspirational Homeschooling,” provides practical tips and encouragement to the homeschool mom on combining academics and discipleship, schooling and life’s other responsibilities without losing your mind. How does one manage responsibilities and maintain the right priorities along the way? The secret is in the integration of the one with the other.

Is this another good reason to attend college? World Magazine reports 240 universities, including Christian colleges, now sponsor e-sports programs—fake sports for gamers. Sports were supposed to be metaphor for warfare. Now, here is metaphor on metaphor, and people watch gamers play games! Avatar 1 and 2 are the first and third biggest blockbusters of all time. Video gaming, a $40 billion industry at the turn of the century, ballooned into a $260 billion industry by 2020, surpassing the music and movie industries by fifteen-fold (and the entire sports industry by more than double). It is the escape from God's reality.

The progress of the green religion is pretty impressive. They tend not to lose their political and cultural battles. Now cities in America have signed up for a program called C-40 intended to ban meat, dairy, and private vehicles by the year 2030. That includes: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. This is the doctrine of demons, and the basis is preposterous—greenhouse emissions, the worship of scientism, and earth worship.

Incredibly, for the first time in modern history, more Americans favor homeschooling than those who favor public schooling. Sixty to seventy percent of Americans maintain a favorable perspective on homeschooling, but only 29% of Americans have confidence in public schools. More Republicans (74%) than Democrats (56%) or unaffliateds (62%) approve of homeschooling for children. Why such enthusiastic support? But what about the 18% of homeschooled kids who oppose homeschooling? We provide four reasons why homeschooling might turn bad.

Children’s church, youth ministry, and highly age-segregated church programming fit well into the new social structures of the 20th century, but could not find basis in Scripture. Getting away from God’s order for family and church has been catastrophic for both. What if the church did what the church is supposed to do, and Christian families did what the family is supposed to do? What if both family and church experienced spiritual revival in the 21st century? What would happen in twenty years?

The Gen Z’ers are “the best educated generation yet.” And they are 70% socialist as compared to 53% of Gen X’ers, 49% of Baby Boomers, and 39% of the Silent Generation. The correlation between the percentage of kids attending college and the percentage bending socialist is almost perfect. Phenomenal! Do you really want to pay $250,000 just to be sure your daughter will vote for Hillary Clinton in the 2028 elections while she gets a liberal, liberal arts education at Dartmouth or Yale or Christian colleges like Wheaton?

Christians are exhorted to be very discerning here, especially when buying birthday cards. Yes, Hallmark conveys a humanist worldview more often than not. This self-definition-obsessed existentialist worldview now runs on steroids and has affected everything from birthday cards to movies.
