Christmas Dream part 2

Today we continue our new series for Christmas by looking once again at the dream Joseph was given by God to prepare him for the birth of Jesus. Now, I am sure you have had a few weird dreams over the years, but how would you have reacted if God told you your fiancé was going to give birth to the savior of the world? Joseph did the right thing. Let’s see what we can glean from this familiar story in Matthew chapter one.

Maybe discouragement is dogging you or someone close to you. Let me invite you to join us as we look at how God encourages the discouraged.

Today our teacher, Pastor Al Pittman, will continue our study through the Psalms, as we look again at Psalms 112. Can you imagine a world in which man’s very first thought in any situation was “How can I glorify God?” Virtually every disagreement, big and small would be solved in a righteous way. Al’s message today will concern the contrast between the wickedness of man, and the Lovingkindness of God, and why God deserves out constant praise!

Innocent people and especially innocent Christians have faced this type of persecution for centuries. We must turn to God for comfort and strength. Our series in Psalms continues today as we bring you a study from Psalm 112.

As Al Pittman will point out today, this is a Psalm that was often quoted in the New Testament, because it speaks of the Holiness and perfection of Jesus Christ - the Son of God!

. When was the last time you felt really lonely? It doesn’t matter what stage of life you’re in, or what level of success you enjoy, every human being feels lonely from time to time. But I’m here to tell you today that there’s really no need for the Christian to feel lonely, because God is here..no matter where you are. It’s a very powerful experience when a Christian first realizes that God is real, He is here with us, and He’s working in our lives!

Do you have priorities every day? We all do, and our priorities say a lot about where our relationship God stands. Many people have a list of priorities that doesn’t contain a single mention of God. That’s a tragedy. Today, pastor Al brings us the final segment of his message based in Psalm 109. This psalm reminds us that worshipping God should be our number one priority in life - and that should be the case every single day!

King David was described as a man after God’s own heart. One of the reasons he attained such a lofty title was his way of always giving God credit for his success, and going straight to God when times got tough.
