There will be many, many people who will suffer terrible consequences in the verses we’ll study. They’ll suffer because they bought into Satan’s lies. Today we return to our new verse by verse study in James. Wisdom is something we all need at various times in our lives, in fact more times than not. Temptations are everywhere today, and wisdom and prayer are the way we can avoid falling into sin. James makes it clear that we should go to God, the author of wisdom, when in need.

On our last program we introduced a new study in the book of James. Any long journey, be it running a marathon in the Olympics or the Daytona 500 car race, requires endurance. The same can be said of the Christian life. James has some practical and wise things to say about endurance and what it produces.
