3. Read Hebrews 9:27-28. What does this say about the purpose of Christ’s return? How does “without reference to sin” (or “not to bear sin”) affect your view of the final judgment?
4. Read Hebrews 10:1-2. What three things would have happened if O.T. Jews had ever found the perfect sacrifice? Be specific. Have these things happened for you? Why or why not?
5. Read Hebrews 10:10. How does this verse impact your view of sanctification?
6. Read Hebrews 10:11-13. What do the two positions – standing and seated – represent? Which position are you in about your sins? What does this mean to you?
7. Read Hebrews 10:14. What does this verse mean to you regarding your forgiveness? What about your future sins? How does this verse relate to the eternal security of your salvation?
