Why do we Christians talk about “the house of the Lord” and even have a song about it? How far off base were some apostles (versus the Judaizers) as described in the book of Galatians? What will happen at the return of Christ? Do we want to be left behind or not? Is 1 John 1:9 a Christian’s bar of soap for daily cleansing?

Is God mad at me for playing the lottery? Do unbelievers have a human spirit or only a soul? Does your soul go to Heaven or just your spirit? What does it mean to be “dead to sin”?

Why did Peter write about “judgment” for “the household of God”? My son tore Matthew out of his Bible. What does God think of him? Can woman really not speak in church?

What is Jesus doing in Luke 6:38? Has the Law “ended”? Do the unsaved have a measure of faith? What about believers who keep on sinning? Are we sealed by the Spirit?

What is the purpose of the Sermon on the Mount? Can believers have a hard heart? I sometimes feel a lack of compassion for other people who suffer tragedy. I wonder if there is something wrong with me. My husband is involved with another woman and shows no remorse or regret. What should I do? How should we view obedience in the Christian life? Other family members broke my heart, and now I’m wondering if I should put up boundaries.

When should a person remain at a church? When should they leave? How important is good doctrine? I’ve experienced better mental health through an improved physical condition. But now I wonder if I could speed up my recovery with more truth or better faith? What about the New Testament instructions for daily living - are they still important?

Should we invite people to evangelistic events without telling them the hidden purpose? Does the power of sin “live” in believers or only “operate” in our bodies when we allow it? Did Jesus fulfill the Old Testament command to love God with all your strength? I thought we were already holy, so what kind of holiness is Paul talking about in 2 Corinthians 7:1?

How do we navigate the world of movies with so many containing scenes of sex, drugs, and other sinful behavior? Why don’t we cast out demons from Christians? What about deliverance ministries? A pastor recently taught that you must have the gift of tongues to be saved. Is this true? How often do we need to gather together as the church?
