How did Jesus not lose anyone given to Him if Judas went to Hell? Did Jesus go to Hell for three days? How do you grieve the death of a parent when you’re twelve years old? Where does it actually say we’ll be reunited with our loved ones in Heaven? How did the books of the Bible get canonized?

Does Israel possess a special anointing or blessing related to medicine or technology? How did God give His only begotten Son if He simply went back to Heaven? Do we really give our life to God or does He give His life to us? Will the whole world realize the return of Christ is happening or just believers?

What part of us was crucified with Christ? How is it that we are new but still learn and grow? Are we made up of two parts or three parts? When do we receive our new bodies?

How should we view “the great commission”? I’m afraid I may have grieved the Holy Spirit and that He has left me. I feel nothing! Was David afraid of losing the Spirit? Did the Spirit come and go in the Old Testament?

I want to personally invite you to watch a liberating and thought-provoking message on Romans 14. I believe it will be an eye-opening experience for you, as Romans 14 challenges preconceived notions and invites you to navigate disputes with others with a whole new perspective. The Apostle Paul tells us the one who is weak in faith is the legalistic one who burdens themselves with unnecessary rules. This means the one who is strong in faith is the one who is free. Yes, God moves us toward freedom as we mature in our faith. Plus, we’ll unravel the importance of respecting others’ opinions about matters such as food, drink, and special days, fostering an atmosphere of peace and harmony. And we’ll discuss the importance of walking in love as we navigate this newfound freedom. Before you click the link to watch this liberating message, take a moment to reflect on these powerful quotes from Romans 14: - “Nothing is unclean in itself” - “Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves” Wow! This message is not only enlightening but also incredibly relevant to our lives today. Watch now and be encouraged in the incredible grace of God. Discussion Questions for Romans 14: 1. Read verses 1-2. Who is the one who is weak in faith? Do they have more rules or fewer rules in their life? 2. Read verse 3. What kind of things could this apply to today? Give examples. 3. Read verse 4. What do you think “the Lord is able to make him stand” refers to? 4. Read verses 5-6. What kind of days is Paul referring to? Do you think Paul means the Jewish Sabbath (Law-keeping)? Or is he referring to Sunday, or holidays, or something else? Explain your reasoning. 5. Read verses 10-12. Who does the “all” refer to? What will the judgment be like? What “account” will you give? 6. React to this statement inspired by verse 14: Nothing is unclean in itself; but if you think it’s unclean, then to you it is unclean! 7. Discuss the powerful meaning of verse 17. Can you explain it in your own words? 8. How can you avoid being a “stumbling block” to others without living as a people pleaser (you can’t please everyone!)? How can a balance be achieved? 9. Read verses 22-23 and react to the freedom of this statement: “Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.”

Is confessing with your mouth the only way to be saved? Why do some Christians still suffer from depression? Why was Satan allowed to be at the Last Supper? Can Christians be possessed by demons? Why did Jesus talk about branches being “cut off”? What if I don’t fulfill what I thought was my ministry? Are we forgiven daily through regular repentance?

When is it okay to remove life support? Why do so many gravitate toward a law- or rule-based religiosity instead of trusting God’s grace? I’m trying to figure out my future and wonder if I can be a gamer or if God really wants me to do something else. Can you help?

Is it correct to say that God “uses” us? Are there apostles today? What do you teach about election and free will? How were people saved in the Old Testament? What happens to your old human spirit when you’re saved?
July 13, 2023
Where does the New Testament say our sins are taken away forever? Does Romans 7 mean that Christians are doomed to be dominated by sin? How can I more effectively share the message of God’s grace with people of all backgrounds? How do the dead in Christ rise first if we are already with God when we die? How can our body be holy and acceptable yet need to be replaced in Heaven?
July 12, 2023
What happened to the five virgins in Matthew 25 who had no oil? What is your take on election and free will? I’m possibly wanting to leave the church I’ve been attending a short while and return to the one I was at before. What do I need to tell the pastor?
