Christianity, as a whole, hangs on one important event: The Resurrection of Christ.  Without the Resurrection, every claim that Jesus ever made is immediately called into question. The Good News is, it’s true. The Resurrection actually happened!  And here’s something else to consider- Our resurrection is as sure as Jesus’ resurrection!  And we’re going to look into this on Abounding Grace.

God gives some within the church the supernatural ability to motivate, inspire, organize and direct others in the work of the Kingdom.  It’s the gift of leading, and we’ll talk about it today on Abounding Grace.  Pastor Ed Taylor will point out how it operated in Jesus’ life, as well as others in the Bible like Nehemiah.  We’ll then go on to be warned of some of the hazards or dangers you’ll want to look out for.

We’ve been exploring the gifts listed in Romans chapter twelve. These gifts that are so very needed are given to the church. But it’s incumbent upon each believer to discover the gift God has given, and begin to use it.  Today's Abounding Grace will help us with that.

God has given you at least one of seven primary spiritual gifts.  But do you know what that is and where you fit in the body?  Our present series in Acts is helping us in that discovery process, and uncovering what it is to serve God.  Today on Abounding Grace we bring you the gift of Giving.  You’ll hear how it operated in Jesus and in the New Testament, and then some dangers for those who have been given the gift too.

We all at some point need to pick someone’s brain or get a gentle push in the right direction. Some are very gifted at providing this for us.  That comes to our attention today on Abounding Grace with pastor Ed Taylor. We’re focusing on the gifts mentioned in Romans chapter twelve.  Just part of a study in Acts.  And today’s gift is exhortation.

What if Jesus died and remained in the grave?  We’re going to thoughtfully consider that question today on Abounding Grace!  We continue looking at the resurrection and what it means to us as Christians.  In First Corinthians fifteen we’ll discover if there’s no resurrection our faith is empty and our preaching is also empty. In fact - if there’s no resurrection we are liars still in our sins with no hope! Talk about some serious ramifications.

Today we dig into the book of Acts, again looking at the seven primary spiritual gifts.  Today we come back to the gift of teaching.  What is this gift?  We established last time, it’s explaining the truth.  And we see this beautifully operating in the early church as pastor Ed Taylor shows us on today's program.
