If you're a Christian you’re an heir of Christ!   Jesus owns it all and is willing to share it with us.   Even more astounding is it’s not deserved, but out of His loving grace that He does this.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll ponder this amazing reality found in Galatians chapter four.

Today, we pick up where we left off last time in our continuing study of Galatians.  As we dig deep into chapter four, we’ll look at what’s ours in Christ.  Once you give your life over to Christ, you become an heir of God.  And one day we’ll be truly blown away by what the Lord has prepared for us in heaven.

Here in this chapter of Galatians Paul is laying out a wonderful doctrinal defense for the grace of God.  The Galatians had strayed away from a loving relationship with Jesus and the grace He alone provides.  Instead they were trying to live up to the law, as so many still do to today.  But as we’re learning through Galatians, that only leads to frustration and failure.

Today on a Daily Walk we learn that none of us can become righteous in our own effort.  Simply put, it’s impossible. Instead we ought to believe in and live by the grace of Jesus. Really the law of God has no power to prevent sin - or redeem the sinner. Only grace can do that.

Today pastor John Randall opens Galatians chapter three and uncovers important instruction about the grace of God that we can all benefit from!  Paul the apostle is about to pose a series of thought provoking questions taking these Galatian believers back to their experience when they were first saved.

Find your place in Matthew chapter twenty. Have you ever wondered why God just doesn’t take us on up to heaven the moment we become saved?  The answer in part is we have a job to do. And part of that involves serving Him and sharing the gospel.

We’re saved by grace through faith… as Christians we believe that.  But did you realize just as we need grace to start this Christian life, we need God’s grace to grow and live day by day?  Freedom is found as we live by grace and allow the Holy Spirit to empower our lives.  That’s the emphasis of today’s message from Galatians chapters two and three on a Daily Walk.

We continue our new verse by verse series in Galatians on a Daily Walk.  As we head back to chapter two remember the apostle Paul is in the midst of defending himself and his ministry.  Lies were being spread about him and he wanted to clear things up.  In doing so he takes a strong stand for the gospel of grace.

If you’re a Christian you have a testimony and the Lord can use it in powerful ways.  What a privilege it is to speak of God’s grace that saves us and changes our lives.  In Galatians chapter one we run across the Apostle Paul’s testimony.  We’ll notice who he was before he was saved, and can’t help but see the big difference after God got a hold of his life.

When it comes to our salvation from sin and approval with God we need to realize we can’t earn it and we don’t deserve it.   It’s by grace that we are saved, apart from works! Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall visits the first ten verses of Galatians chapter one.  It’s a marvelous declaration of the grace of God.
