Transformed Part 1

One hundred percent commitment and surrender to God may sound to some like an unreasonable demand. But when you consider the countless mercies our God has lavished upon us it’s the only worthy response. And we’ll focus on those mercies and our response to them today on a Daily Walk

Pastor John Randall will be continuing his through the Bible series with another stop in Romans.  As we finish chapter eleven today, Paul is pointing out that God is not done with Israel. He’s looked at the past, present and future to build that case.  John will encourage us today, that just as God has a plan for Israel, He has a plan for us too.

The Parable of the Sower -- by far, one of the more familiar parables taught by Jesus during His earthly ministry. It’s a timeless story with a heavenly meaning that contains truths that apply to both believers and unbelievers alike.  Would you like to have a heart that is producing something fruitful?  If so listen to a Daily Walk.

As you look at where the nation of Israel is at spiritually, and the horrific way they’ve been treated through the ages you might be wondering, has God forgotten about them?  Is He done with Israel?  That very question is addressed and answered for us in Romans chapter eleven.  And that’s where we’ll camp out today on a Daily Walk with pastor John Randall.  As you’ll soon see, the future is bright for Israel.

Throughout the day we talk about everything from the weather to what’s on the news, our kids and even about the guy that cut us off on the freeway.  But oftentimes we fail to talk about the most important thing of life, namely the gospel.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to tell others about Jesus every chance we get, with the realization some will reject the message and others will receive it!

We pick up where we left off in Romans, which reveals the way to be made right with God. It’s by believing in Christ. There’s another way but no one can do it! And that’s by keeping the entire law all of its commands and without fail.  Nobody but Jesus can or has done that.  So consider where you’re at today, and if a change of heart and direction is needed!
October 1, 2024
We continue moving verse by verse through the book of Romans. And in chapter ten we’ll hear about the Savior that God provided as a gift, and the righteousness He provides apart from the works of the law.

Jesus was sure great about taking deep heavenly truths, and making them easy to understand. One of His chosen methods of teaching was through stories we refer to as parables. Maybe like me you enjoy a good story. Our Lord was the master story teller! On today’s A Daily Walk with pastor John Randall, we’ll begin a look at one of these parables - a rather well known one that deals with reaping and sowing.

Most of us really struggle with patience.  It’s usually on full display for all to see during rush hour traffic, or when the grocery line is more than three people!  But God is very patient and long-suffering in His dealings with us.  And we should be thankful He is!  With that said, that doesn’t mean we should take advantage of it and continue to resist His plan and purpose in our lives.

There are many difficult and debated questions in Christian circles.  One of the biggies has to do with God’s sovereign will.  We’ll discover today on a Daily Walk that God in His sovereignty has the ability to show mercy, and the ability to honor a decision made against Him through a person’s free will!  Does that seem a little unfair or unjust? Or maybe a little hard to understand?  If so, listen to this as pastor John Randall visits Romans chapter nine.
