Maybe like some people I know, you’re a planner!  There’s nothing wrong with that!  But while planning is good, we still need to be open and sensitive to the Lord’s leading and apply some biblical principles in our decision making.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll notice some of the principles that guided Paul.  We’re about to give our attention to his travel plans and the lessons that flow from it are huge!

We’ll be finishing First Corinthians chapter fifteen today.  And we’ve camped out here for quite some time, as it emphasizes such an important and encouraging truth… the Resurrection.   Just as Jesus rose from the grave some 2,000 years ago, so too will each believer after they die.  And we will experience eternal life in a place the Lord has prepared for us.  It gets even better… we’ll receive a new and much improved body.  I know you’ll be encouraged by this passage, so join us for part two of “The Resurrection of the Body.”

We’re going to jump right back into our verse by verse study of Matthew today, so open your Bible to chapter seventeen. The transfiguration of Christ, as described here, is one of the most amazing occurrences in the Bible. Can you imagine what that experience was like?  To even receive a glimpse of Jesus in all of His glory is enough to take your breath away!  Today Pastor John Randall tells us all about this mountaintop experience and what happened after they went down from the mountain.

Christianity, as a whole, hangs on one important event: The Resurrection of Christ.  Without the Resurrection, every claim that Jesus ever made is immediately called into question. The Good News is….  it’s true. The Resurrection actually happened!  And here’s something else to consider- Our resurrection as believers is as sure as Jesus’ resurrection!  And we’re going to look into this on a Daily Walk.
