We’ve been studying the Book of Revelation of late.   During the Tribulation period the Lord will send out two witnesses to testify of His grace, love and forgiveness.  Though they’ll have the power and authority of God they’ll be opposed at every turn.  Similarly we’re called to be God’s witnesses in a hostile environment.  Thankfully we have the power of the Spirit to help.

We are making our way through First Corinthians, and we get back to chapter thirteen today, which is all about the love of God.  What would you say you’re known for?  Maybe it’s your accomplishments at the workplace, or your wealth?  Some are known as being a gossip, or an angry, bitter person.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be known as a loving person?  That’s actually what the Christian should be known for, and today we’ll be encouraged in that direction.

Someone has noticed snowflakes are one of the most fragile things, but just look at what they can do when they stick together. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll see what God can do when we stick together and are unified.  And we’ll raise your awareness to a danger many of us are prone to, and that is esteeming one gift above another.

Today, we make a return visit to Revelation chapter ten. This chapter is a chance to catch our collective breaths after the cataclysmic events in chapter nine.  We’re in between the sixth and seventh trumpet judgments… a parenthesis if you will.  Pastor John Randall has noticed a mystery here... the mystery of God.

Do you consider yourself to be an integral part of the Body of Christ? God does!  But often we start comparing ourselves to others, wishing we had the same gifts as our neighbor down the street. In our study today, the apostle Paul explains the significance of the Body of Christ working together as one.  As an analogy, he points to the human body, which has many parts, but is to effectively function as one unit. Wouldn’t it be great if that were an accurate description of the Church today?
