Pastor John Randall is in the early stages of a series in the Song of Solomon.  In the first few verses of chapter one the Shulamite woman is confessing her love to Solomon.  She’s basically saying there’s nothing like it, and it goes way beyond physical attraction to the inner character.  Pastor John will relate this to what we should be looking for in a spouse, but also God’s love for us!

Do you enjoy a good love story or love song?  Most of us do.   But much of the time the picture that we’re given of love and romance in the world is diametrically opposed to what we find in Scripture.  Today on a Daily Walk we begin a helpful series of studies based on the Song of Solomon.  Now if you want an accurate picture of love and romance, that’s the book to turn to!

We’ve seen it so often in the church, a family, neighborhood and even in this nation… division!  And it’s not hard to see the damage that’s left behind.  People no longer talking to each other, church splits, divorce, and on and on I could go.  How does God feel about it, how can we avoid it?  Those are just a couple of key questions pastor John Randall will address in this our final study of Romans on a Daily Walk.
February 10, 2023
We’re just about finished with our study of Romans.  In the sixteenth and final chapter Paul makes mention of a number of people he served the Lord with and considered very dear friends!  He very much loved and appreciated them.  And pastor John Randall will take a look at each of them today.

Today we join the apostle Paul on a journey to Jerusalem.  As we learned last time it would not be easy.  He was seeking to walk in the will of God, and trying to figure it out as he goes.  He was committed in spite of the cost.  Today he gets personal and shares a few prayer requests.

Pastor John Randall is nearing the completion of his study in Romans.  We’ll finish up chapter fifteen today and next time.  Maybe you’re the type of person that likes to plan ahead, set your goals and set out to achieve them.  There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact the apostle Paul was a planner too. But there are some important things to keep in mind along the journey.  Like expect some hindrances and opposition!

We’re nearing the end of our studies in Romans. And as we do, we’re getting to know the apostle Paul on a personal level. He writes in this letter to the church in Rome, about why he does what he does – and the recognition that he’s only an instrument in God’s hands. We can learn a lot from Paul’s example, as he shares his goals, plans and even a bit about the opposition he faced.

Since heaven is to be our eternal home we ought to prepare for it and cultivate what the bible calls a heavenly mind as we journey here on earth. Today’s a Daily Walk will help us with that.
February 4, 2023
We’ll be entering into a more personal and biographical section of Romans today, and glean insight on Paul’s heart for the Church in Rome!  We’ll discover why he was so effective as a leader, teacher and preacher of the gospel. He made it his aim to be pleasing to the Lord, and sought to glorify the Lord.  Pastor John Randall suggests we follow in those footsteps.
