Facing Your Fears Part 2

Maybe you’re living in fear over something today? You can break free from fear and we’ll tell you how here on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall will be finishing Matthew chapter ten where the disciples are afraid and Jesus calms their fears and offers them much needed encouragement.

It’s not hard to see people struggle with fear in the world as we know it. Maybe it’s a fear of death that has a grip on you, or getting a virus, a fear of what people think of us or even what may happen if we choose to go down a certain path. Jesus taught the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Why is it that the laborers are few? Is it because so many feel unqualified or too busy so they won’t venture into the harvest? Today we’ll study Matthew chapter ten, and discover the kind of people that Jesus calls to be His laborers. You’ll be encouraged to discover they are just like you and me. The Lord does this to not only bless us - but that He might be glorified!

We’re going through the Bible right now and today’s landing spot is Matthew chapter nine verses 23-38. Nothing can compare to the grief that follows the death of a child. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare. Or imagine being blind or demon possessed! That’s the reality for the people we’ll encounter in today’s passage. And when they met Jesus everything changed, in a good way! Whatever you’re facing today, allow this study to encourage you to take it to Jesus in faith.

Or the pastor is now doing the announcements at the end of service instead of the beginning! Matthew Chapter eight opens with a number of healings. And these healings drew people who were impressed and inspired by the things the Lord was doing. Jesus had an interesting response to those who witnessed His miracles and sought to follow after Him - one we’ll look over today.
