Few of us like to tell someone they’re in the wrong, and even fewer respond well when they are corrected.  There’s nothing easy about church discipline, but when you realize the purpose is restoration and not to harm or embarrass, you come to realize it’s one of the most loving things we can do for a person caught up in sin.  And when a person does repent, how should the church respond?  We’ll learn from a church that made a few mistakes.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall helps us in this area of discipline, forgiveness and restoration.

The life of a Christian is sure exciting! But that doesn’t mean there won’t be suffering. Even in the suffering God is faithful to provide comfort and to use the Christian’s experience to be a blessing to others. And today on a Daily Walk we’ll see this shining through as we begin a series of studies in Second Corinthians. Pastor John Randall will be sharing some important truths about the Christian life over the next several weeks as we study this challenging letter from the Apostle Paul. Paul is in the process of dealing with the unfair accusations he’s been receiving.

We’ll be in First Corinthians chapter sixteen with pastor John Randall.  It’s a good idea to make prayerful plans.  But we also need to remain flexible if the Lord should step in and change things.  Today we’ll go on to see why we need to remain faithful where God has us, even when we’re being opposed.

Maybe like some people I know, you’re a planner!  There’s nothing wrong with that!  But while planning is good, we still need to be open and sensitive to the Lord’s leading and apply some biblical principles in our decision making.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll notice some of the principles that guided Paul.  We’re about to give our attention to his travel plans and the lessons that flow from it are huge!

About A Daily Walk

John Randall is the Senior Pastor of Calvary South OC located in San Clemente CA. John has been serving in pastoral ministry for over 25 years and is the featured speaker on the Bible teaching radio program "A Daily Walk."  He is known for his clear and relatable presentation of the Scriptures.

About John Randall

As a child, John’s family  began attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa  in 1974.  It was there that he attended  the elementary school, Jr. High, and graduated from Calvary Chapel High School.  Following graduation he went on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa as a janitor. It was also at this time that he met his wife Michelle who was teaching at Calvary’s elementary school.

After four years on staff  having served in children’s ministry, high school ministry and worship John went on staff at Calvary Chapel in Vista CA. 

In 1997 the Randall’s set out on a venture of faith to the SouthEast of Florida where they planted their first church, Calvary Chapel of Brandon. After ten years of ministry in Florida the Lord called the Randall's back to Southern California where John currently pastors at  Calvary South OC.  John has been serving in pastoral ministry for over 25 years and is the featured speaker on the Bible teaching radio program "A Daily Walk." He is known for his clear and relate-able presentation of the Scriptures. John and his wife Michelle have four children.
