We’ve got a timely resource to share with you. It’s “Did the Resurrection Happen…Really?” Maybe that question has crossed your mind here around Easter time? It’s part of the Coffee House Chronicles that are short and easy to read, aimed at answering prevalent spiritual questions.

We’ll be entering into a more personal and biographical section of Romans today, and glean insight on Paul’s heart for the Church in Rome!  We’ll discover why he was so effective as a leader, teacher and preacher of the gospel. He made it his aim to be pleasing to the Lord, and sought to glorify the Lord.  Pastor John Randall suggests we follow in those footsteps.

Pastor John Randall will return to Romans today.  You’ve probably noticed, not everyone in the church shares the same opinions as you do.  They have certain personal preferences, that you don’t have.  Or perhaps they were raised differently than you were, and think differently as a result.  That’s ok!  And today, pastor John emphasizes how we’re to work towards unity in matters of opinion or doubtful things.

There are some things the Bible is very clear about… you shouldn’t steal, lie or commit adultery for instance.  But then there’s another area we might classify as “doubtful things.”  The Bible doesn’t say one way or the other what we’re to do.  Like, what color should the carpet be in the church, or should I drive a luxury or economy car ?  We’re free to have differences of opinion over these doubtful things, but we must never divide over it.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work towards unity with Romans chapter fifteen in view.

It’s not hard to see, our nation is divided.  While that’s the case in the world, it shouldn’t be in the church.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work through our differences and work toward unity.  You can be sure, you’ll encounter some with a different opinion or conviction than you.  But when it comes to doubtful things, well there’s no need to divide!  And it’s an opportunity to love.

One of the difficulties we face as Christians is the differing views on the so-called grey areas or liberties, things that God’s word does not specifically address!  Maybe you’ve noticed, not every Christian shares the same opinions as you, and we may have different convictions. But that doesn’t mean we should be dividing over it.  We’re about to continue in the book of Romans today on a Daily Walk! As we do we are reminded that while God’s commands are to be obeyed, one of them is to not condemn our brother or sister who practice their God given liberties or have different convictions than we do.

Today we take a tour of a Holy City that will come down from heaven and the apostle John is our tour guide.  What it’s like and more importantly what it takes to get there is our focus today as we open Revelation chapter 21.

Most of us have experienced this… we’ve overslept and missed an important appointment or didn’t end up where we were supposed to be as a result.  Sadly many Christians are asleep spiritually, and are missing out on something good!  As we’ll see today on a Daily Walk it’s time to wake-up!  We’re in the last days, and Jesus is coming soon.  With that in mind, we need to be ready and we need to be loving others.  Pastor John Randall will sound the alarm as he turns to Romans chapter thirteen starting at verse nine.
January 27, 2023
Maybe you’ve noticed there’s no shortage of haters in the world as we know it!  Spend a few minutes on social media and see for yourself.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll see how the Christian is to stand out by being loving!  Why should we love, who should we love, and how are we to love… those are just a few questions we’ll set out to answer now with pastor John Randall.
January 26, 2023
Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall examines the biblical role of government, and our God-given response to those in authority!  As we study Romans thirteen we discover that government plays a very important role in our lives, and we’re to be respectful and obey.  But are there times when we are to refuse to submit to the government?  Where do we draw the line?  We could turn to Daniel for starters, to help us answer that.
January 25, 2023
As Christians our primary allegiance is to Christ and we know we’re to follow His Word.  But what is our responsibility to the government around us?  And is there ever a point in which we refuse to abide by the laws of the land?  We’re looking at the Christian and our civic responsibility today on a Daily Walk.  It’s part of pastor John Randall’s new study of Romans.
