Favor Lee – Part 2

June 28, 2024

Welcome back to Driven 4word: Influential Leaders Powered By God’s Will. Join us each month as we share the life story of an influential leader who humbled themselves to God’s plan for their life and embarked on a journey that only He could orchestrate.

In the last episode, we met Favor Lee, Director of Business Development at EisnerAmper and “Mom to two and wife to one.” After getting the opportunity to leave Korea and attend college in the U.S. for a year, Favor took a leap of faith and followed a dream that she had spoken into existence with her mother years prior.

As Favor graduated, started her career and her family, she began to notice that her personal spiritual community and the community she was building with her professional colleagues lacked a bridge between them. She soon began to see the direct relationship influence and community share and leaned into God’s path for her life which led her to finding a beautiful answer to finding a way to join all areas of her life together under the umbrella of faith.

Guest Bio:

Favor Lee is a Director of Business Development with over 10 years of public accounting experience, servicing both public and private companies. She is responsible for leading and driving business development initiatives for the Southwest region, primarily focusing on the real estate and construction companies as well as manufacturing and distribution, health care, and oil and gas.

By utilizing her accounting background, Favor creates a unique accounting solution for clients, and prospect by working closely with the client service team. She attributes much of her success to her diligence and willingness to learn from every opportunity. Favor strives to serve clients and prospective clients not only with the utmost professionalism but also with a serving heart.

Prior to joining the firm, Favor was the Controller for a national restaurant franchise, and led the corporate accounting team and oversaw the full-cycle accounting. She began her accounting career at a Big 4 accounting firm as an auditor, where she was responsible for the overall planning and execution of external audit of a multi-billion-dollar construction company.

In the community, Favor is passionate about serving and giving back. She is on the board of the Dallas chapter for 4word, a non-profit organization supporting Christian women in the workplace reach their potential with confidence, and United Nations Association of the U.S., a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to promoting political and public support for the United Nations among Americans.

Welcome back to Driven 4word: Influential Leaders Powered By God’s Will. Join us each month as we share the life story of an influential leader who humbled themselves to God’s plan for their life and embarked on a journey that only He could orchestrate. In the previous episode, we met Jennifer Jackson, an entrepreneur and distinguished leader in the legal technology industry. Though her professional life has been highly successful and rewarding, her spiritual walk didn’t come into its own until she was in her thirties. As she grew in her faith and began to identify all the points in time that God had been right there beside her, Jennifer started to really see and value the impact that being an influence on others can have. Guest Bio: Jennifer Jackson has been a business and ministry leader for almost 30 years. She currently serves in an executive business leadership role, in multiple board roles, and as an ordained minister.  She started her first company at the age of 23 and was named entrepreneur and lifestyle leader of the year by the Chamber of Commerce in the 90s for ecommerce business growth and helping other entrepreneurs learn to conduct ecommerce in these early days. She sold this business by age 30 and joined a Fortune 200 corporation in legal technology services to climb the ranks in leadership and lead award winning sales teams for the following 20+ years. During this time Jennifer spent her vacation days from work ministering in the US and in Africa with the focus of discipling nations by raising up kingdom leaders in Zambia, DRC Congo, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Tanzania.  Over the last 10 years, while still operating fulltime in executive leadership in the legal technology industry and in a global ministry, Jennifer began to grow in understanding that there is no separation between the sacred and secular and her two worlds of business and ministry continue to find synergy. Becoming active in the 4word community has created exponential increase to this understanding and growth in her life. Attending the 4word C-Level Forum has impacted Jennifer’s business and ministry connections and personal growth.  Orginal broadcast dated: Feb 2022 Click here for the latest Podcast from 4word - Work Love Pray Podcast - 4word (4wordwomen.org)
