Day 237
DEMONSTRATIVENESS
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, how do I define love? Love is who I am. Love is what I did for you. Love is how I will always treat you. I chose to let you know how very precious you are to Me by dying for you. Is there any greater love than this? It didn't matter what you looked like, or what you had done. I demonstrated My love so you would know without any doubt My words are not empty. When I say, "I love you," I mean it, My child. Will you demonstrate your love for Me by letting Me love through you today?
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
You didn't just say You loved me, Lord. You showed me. Though I felt like a broken piece of discarded pottery, You treated me like a piece of fine china. Your demonstrativeness, Lord, Your love in action, won me over. As I love You in return, You are the one who changes me.
SIMPLE TRUTH
The miracle of God's love is not that He loves us—but that He loves us as we are.
