"As surely as the LORD lives, I can tell him only what the LORD tells me" (1 Kings 22:14). How often do we ask for the truth but really do not want to hear it? How often are we told the truth yet refuse to act on it?
We do not like to think of ourselves as choosing to follow a false god, like Baal. But when we turn from following the Lord, we are turning to follow something else.
